Gonge arches: improving coordination and balance
Gonge arches bring variety to children’s sports and encouraging activity. The versatile arches can be used as a bridge or seesaw. You can increase the challenge, for example, by setting up an arch as a bridge at the bottom and placing another on top of it with the curved side down. The tricky part is to lay out a Gonge arch like a seesaw and then lay another on top of it with the curve pointing upwards. Adjust the level of difficulty to suit the children’s abilities. The arches have a pleasant feel to them, so they can easily be walked on barefoot. The stable inner part is made of plastic. Soft, non-slip edging provides better grip when balancing.
